Readers, I’m sure most of you are familar with green shakes; you know those shakes that are made with kale and spinach, can be flavorless, and take forever to make in the blender. Well, about a month ago, I became a green shake fanatic, but only because my mom gave me a super easy recipe. See the recipe below:
- Handful of kale and spinach
- 1/2 cup of coconut water
- 1/2 teaspoon of parsley
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 apple
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon of peeled ginger
- Splash of lemon juice
- Splash of cayenne pepper
The best part of this recipe is you do not have to be exact in your measurements at all. Feel free to experiment and switch out ingredients if need be.
I find this drink especially good after a surf or heated yoga session. It also keeps incredibly well in the fridge.
